A members’ club that welcomes day visitors
TYC is first and foremost a members’ club.
Our members keep the lights on—quite literally. Their subscriptions maintain the anchorage, showers, workshop, safety gear, staff training, and the shared spaces that make this place special. In return, members enjoy priority access, voting rights, and the ability to shape the club’s future.
Day visitors are welcome.
Sailors passing through, friends in town, curious travellers—you’re invited to enjoy the club for the day. Please sign in at the office/bar on arrival and collect a day pass. Capacity is limited, so access is on a space-available basis, and some areas or activities may be members-only.
Why the “members’ club” model?
It’s how we keep the facilities cared for and access fair and regulated. By asking everyone to come in through a simple check-in, follow house rules, and respect staff guidance, we protect the atmosphere and ensure the club remains clean, safe, and welcoming for all.
Your part in the balance.
Enjoy the terrace, the water, and the community—while being mindful of shared spaces. Follow posted guidelines, supervise children, and treat the team and other guests with respect. If you’re bringing a boat, please check anchorage and dinghy-dock guidance when you sign in.
Loved your day? Join us.
If TYC feels like your kind of place, ask about membership. It’s the best way to support the club you enjoy—and to help keep this corner of the coast thriving for the next crew that sails in.
